History: | La Perouse called this glacier Le Grand Plateau in 1786 and Dall (1875, pl. 21), U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey (USC&GS), called it the Grand Plateau Glacier. This latter name was published in the 1883 Coast pilot (p. 205). (AK-T1) |
